Busy..

Form 4 life is getting busier and busier..in a blink of an eye..the prefectorial board is going to change for 2008/2009..haiz..I don't know whether I should be a prefect or not..and I duno whether I'm qualify or not for that job..because is not easy to be a prefect,even if you are the class prefect,still it is not an easy job.Most of the orientation committee would be prefect,i guess.I am happy that my parents encourage me to be prefect,but I am not sure about it.Maybe yes,maybe no..let God tell me the way.

After the choir competition,I have dance competition coming.Yes..I am happy about it,cuz this is the 1st time I dance..of course I am excited..we are going to dance the traditional dance..but I can't dance really well just beginner..teach me if I do anything wrong..I hope that I could remember those steps and could do more eye contact with my partner..hope that I didn't let the teacher disappointed.plz..steve..remember all the steps and try to visualize the formation!!

These few days,after school everyday,choir have to practice and practice again for the Peringkat Sarawak..Of course we have to do better than the competition here in Miri..the competition is in Jun 12,13,14..in Sibu..after the school holidays..hope that we will prepared for the competition..

I already missed a lot of classes because of choir,then now dance..is not that I am complaining,but I scared that I couldn't catch up.I really really miss my class,my teachers,and my classmates.Some of the teachers care about me..they said where have you been,steve?Long time didn't see you..Well,I'm not in class for 3 weeks i think..haiz..sorry teacher..thanx for caring about me..Anyway,there are so many homework and assignments that I need to finished.Luckily I got friends to help me with the homework and tell me the homework..if no..i'll die.Haiz..semester exams is around the corner,I haven't start my study yet..hope that I can be prepared in this coming test.

Although these things makes me tired and stress,but I will make myself happy,because Kurt said:" smile is the best medicine for stress"!!Thanks kurt for teaching me that..really appreciate that!

Yeah we won!!

We are the CHAMPION!

Finally all the hard work,time and energy had paid off.We won!Thank God!!Thank God!!!Thank God!!We are so happy and proud that we could defend the title as CHAMPION!!!There are 8 school that competite...3 judges...3 trophies...1 best conductor..1 CHAMPION!

We all went High and happy when they anounced the 2nd runner up winner.Maybe we're to confidence..hehe..but actually we can't be so proud la..should wait for the result then cherish the moment,if we didn't win..how?we lose our face lo..haha..but thank God..WE WIN!!!SIBU here we come!!!The state level is at 13th,14th and 15th of May in Sibu..and meet The Methodists'!Jia you CH Choir!!

Today's the day

Today's the day!Today's the day!Today is the Pertandingan Koir Sekolah Menengah Peringkat Bahagian Miri!I am so freaking out!Today after the roll call,choir gathered in the hall,then we have to go for "intensive physical training",that is to run the whole school field once or twice.That is to training our breathing.Wosh..so tired..I haven't exercise since the orientation 2008 finished.Haiz..no time..busy here..busy there.Anyway..our coach,Noel,guiding us on how to exercise.

Then,we go back to hall.After rest,we do some vocal exercises lead by esther and karen.Those vocal exercises are important for us when singing.We do stuff like ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..then some more la..it sound silly and funny but it worth it.Also,when resting,these are the things we do to release pressure..or relax..

3 or 4 days before judgement

Time flies in a blink of an eye,left only 3 or 4 days to be prepared for judgement day.Choir competition is around the corner.Don't know whether the other schools had prepared or not but I'm sure they did.It's only left few days.All the hardwork,time and energy that we spent will finally paid off.To all the teachers and seniors,thank you for giving us opportunity to learn,love,confidence,supports,guiding and pollishing our singing skills.We will not let you guys down.We will defend our title as CHAMPION again this year.Choir put in more effort!Must jia you!

Choir practice this morning..

I am sick and tired,I guess everyone in the choir will feel the same too.We've been practicing it the whole week,morning and afternoon.We also have to keep our voices,not to shout,drink a lot a lot of water and not eat fried food.How sick is that?!It's no difference eating the food in the hospital.Anyway,I have sore throat from yesterday and today getting worse,so I can't sing well.Hope that I will recover before the competition.Plz..

Choir have been using this room for the place to practice.This is not a room for choir.It's the school's confrence room.We're just using it for practicing.It's a suite and comfortable place to practice because it has many air-conditioner,soft chairs to sit and to sleep and soft floor also can be a place to sleep.It also have a big whiteboard for the seniors to teach or a place for us to draw something or shout out.
yea..here are the teaching of our senior,Voon hui.We have to put slur or "rainbow" in the songs.We also need to do phrasing and alert for the rest in the songs.When we sings the songs,we must focus,enjoy and feel the songs.And also,we 4 parts,our voice must be harmony and unite as one so that the songs will be nicer and good to hear.So,keep it up..choir!only few days to go!We're going to rock the stage and shine on that day!Jia you!& may God bless us!=P

Disappointed..

I am very disappointed in myself because can't even get a good result in exams..Where is the clever me last year?I want you back!Seriously,where is the other me?Have I change?Anyway I am not really satisfied with my result..I have to study hard for the next exams which is 23 days to come.

I am not just disappointed in my result,in choir also.I feel that my love to the choir or singing is dropping,I can't even focus and hit the right notes,always go out of tune.Haiz..I think it's not just me la..The whole choir too.We've just been scolding by the teacher because our heads are not in the game.Plus,our school target that we must be champion again this year.The competition is coming soon and we still talking,playing,not serious,no discipline at all including me la..(a bit la)..I am so regret that I didn't learn piano lesson when my mum ask me to go when I was 8.Hey,I didn't know what is the use of music!But,now I know that music plays important role in my life.If no music,my life will be full of emptiness.I was once a band member,but I because I can't read the notes.Then,in school and church choir also need music.Also,in every occasion,also have music.If I learned music from before,I will be in band and in choir,I also can teach those who don't know.Haiz..it's too late..

Sunday..

Every Sunday,wake up early to go to church.I am a member of the choir for Youth Mass at St.Joseph Cathedral.Anyway,I want to say sorry that I could not go for practice every Saturday due to school activities.Thanks Amy for understanding.Then wake up so early.Church choir better now,although I still miss Petrus.He is our pianist and our leader la..He already in Kuching for studying.Really do miss u,bro!But after that,Teacher Amy take over..very good..Now we got 4 pianists or keyboardists that are Teacher Amy,Paulina(Petrus's sister),Elyna and Melinda.But we only got one pro conductor that is Karen.Then choir members okla..

I am so freakingly tired.Yesterday slept at 1am cuz movie night.Then,early in the morning go church..then follow my mom to go buy food snd stuff.At 2.30pm,go to school for choir practice.Today not every choir members come.Maybe they got stuff to do la..no big deal.So,we just keep practicing and practicing to be better.Add oil everyone!

Relax

Finally,today have the time to spend some quality time with my family and relaxing from studies,activities,tuition,exams and many more..We go to the beach after I come back from Chemistry tuition.It is really to be around with family sometimes.In my family,we seldom go out together.Dad and mom always busy with their works and sometimes go outstation.Then,me and my sister have activities again.Everyone in my family seem to be busy every day.So,it's nice to have time with family.

Choir practice

Yay..we going to compete in Choir Competition again this year..but it's in 23rd April which means that we must be prepare from now because of not enough time.So,we start our intensive training from yesterday.There are 38 people including the conductor and pianist.Mr.Phang tell us that we must be champion again this year..but i think that it will take a miracle to get champion in such a short time of practice.But anyway I still hope that we are prepared and going to be champion again.The songs that we going to compete are Putra Puteri and Malaysia Medley.I guess everyone know the songs right.Hope we do great yea!

He has always been in my life,from the day I first opened my eyes to the world.He is a teacher,a guide,a source of strength and support.He is loving and kind,he listens,suggests and defends.

He gave a lot of sacrifices for his family.He did a lot for his family to give them the best education and the living standard.My mom tells me, he was there for me everyday, played with me when I was little and even now he gives me time and attention.

He really emphasized on education from the very beginning because he is a headmaster too.He always tell me to study hard and get a good result for my future.Money isn't everything.He would send me to tuition and buy many books no matter what they cost.He gave me the freedom to do anything I want.He supports me in anything that I do.

Every time I would have any kind of a problem, I very well know where to turn for help. Whether I needed an advice to make a decision or financial help, he was always there for me and thank God he still here.My father is a very influential person as well. He helps people in any way he can.He is the greatest person in the whole wide world and no one could replace him.That person is my dad.And today is his 48th birthday.

Mistakes

Haiz...why am I so careless and so forgetful?!

Exams today are quite easy actually..
1st is BM..
I already study it for few hours yesterday..
Yet I forget some of the important stuff..
Lose marks for BM..
2nd is EST..
It's quite ok for me..
Not very easy or hard..
EST maybe good this time..
3rd is Moral..

Yay! Just heard from my friend that got choir competition..I was so happy and really really excited because I am going to join the competition again this year..Last year is the most greatest year for our choir cuz we were the champion of Pertandingan Koir Antara Sekolah in Miri...then we go to Bintulu for Pertandingan Koir Sekolah Menengah Peringkat Negeri Sarawak..and we got third place..yipee!Hope this year we win again!What!The competition is on when??12th of April!The school concert had just finished and exams are around the corner and the comepetition is after the exams!We,Choir didn't even prepared anything yet...we don't even know the songs that we will compete this year..haiz..and I still haven't recover yet..O god please help me..

Early in the morning...
Dad: Steve..wake up!It's 5:30am..get ready for school..
Me: Just chill dad..give me couple of minutes to sleep..
Dad: You better hurry and get up or you going to be late..
Me: Haiz..i'm still sick..just give me time to rest..
Dad: ok..

After awhile...

6:15am..

Me: Dad..why didn't you woke me..?!It's 6:15am!

And there I rush to the bathroom and prepare myself..Then..go to school at 6:31..Luckily I managed to reach school by 6:45am..phew..all the prefects already standing outside the gate..so scary..then..I go to my class..

I was sick but I hide it la..actually I got fever..never thought sharon and alyssa also sick as me..haiz..I can't even sing song..anyway..I MISS U PROPS ROOM!!!We are cleaning the props room today..after we mengotorkan that room because of the concert..hihi..the room were filled with dust and many dirty stuff..so we cleaned it and put all the props of the drama into the room..The room also give us many memories on how to do a tree..a cave..and snow too..hehe..gonna miss u...till next year then..!Bye!

Oh yeah..today is 1st of April,which means April Fool Day!Hehe..I thought I was going to kacau somebody today...but me pula yang kena pranks..haiz..Then I got easily tricked by my friends..haiz..why am I so..so..chi duan!knowing today is April fool still got pranked!Foolish me..
