2008 Prefects Camp had finally over.5 days 4 nights,I surely miss a lot of stuffs..phone,PC,music,my bed,my room and more..I enjoyed and learn a lot of things after these camp..There's a lot of unforgettable memories..."United We Stand,Divided We Fall" is the theme for this year prefects camp.Unity is important among the prefects.
-1st day of camp-
Around 2 something,we all gathered at the hall with our luggage,bags,mattress and pails..then,after spot check,we then ring our stuffs to our room..then,we were divided into groups.There are 12 groups.Agro,Bullet,Chaos,Diablo,Ember,Frisbee,Gonzo,Hobnob,Junky,Kamikaze,Lappy and Marshmallow.I was in Group 6-Frisbee,with Chim Yun as leader,Wilson as asst.leader and members are Ivy,me,Carolyn,Yuk Kham,Lai Fei,Karen,Jeanne,Cat face and Bonnie.most of them i know..so easy to work with.After take bath,we had our dinner,the food really sucks..sorry to say..but wtd it's camp..not vacation,so i just eat it cause really starving.At night,have talk from Mr.Halim and a lecturer from curtin..I love her!!Then we do our signboard and slogan.Fris..fris..Frisbee!!cute neh?!My hand dirty with paint.
-2nd day of camp-
Stupid alarm..they used the drums as an alarm to wake us up.Crazy..you might kill a person with heart attack you know..!haha..after that we got morning jog..then breakfast..then opening ceremony of Prefects Cam.It was successful.After that,most of us fell asleep..to tired..not enough sleep..then got talks again..which makes me keep yawning..then,we have the activity that I've been waiting for..TRESSURE HUNT!!Our group combine with group 2-Bullet,which make our team name and slogan.."FishFillet..mmm..yummy!!"haha..our journey not so good la..from (Starting point)School>Beach>School>Suncity>Happy Cafe>South School>Bumiko stairs..We complete the task but no one tell us to go back to beach and plus the sky is getting darker so we went back to school.We're the 2nd team to arrive and finished the task..It was tiring and we all exhausted and a lot people rosak slippers and feet sore.But we have fun la..
-3rd day of camp-
Canada Hill here we come!Before going jungle trekking,we were given briefing by the people from Pertahanan Awam.Then,we start hiking.There are 3 teams-4 groups in a team.So we were the last team to depart.Many of us are first climber including me.I mean Canada Hill la..Then,got things that we don't expecting is we go the wrong way..cuz each hill there will be checkpoint..but i didn't..just the 1st 2 checkpoint..but what the heck,we continued on..There's a lot of blood sucking vampires in the jungle.We were happy an I can feel the teamwork between our group.Although we are tired but we still continued the journey and we didn't give up!Finally we reach the top and we rush to the museum and find out that we're the 1st team to arrive and we went on 6 hills..Wee!!We did it!!After that having our lunch and what's more good is we can go into the museum for free.I never went in before..haha..fun inside..especially "the earthquake"..really fun!!
-4th day of camp-
Wake up early morning,cuz today got assembly.Today no duty so went to class find my friends.Last day le..Hope all of us still in the same class next year.I am happy cuz my result isn't tat bad..I got rank 7 in my class.Yipee..I am in Top 10!!After assembly,we change into our beach wear..and go to Esplanade Beach.The view was nice there.Really love the beach.Before that,we are given lunch,then divided into groups.Frisbee and Agro.Before the water games starts,Roger kena Aluba by all of the guys..haha..he was on the trees.He couldn't go down cuz he was surrounded by a colony of lions.haha..then he came down and we all Aluba him again.Then,1st game..we need to build an island like tat that can fit all of us,make walls,write big SOS,start fire and bake potatoes.Surprisingly,we are the 1st team to complete the task.Woohoo!!then,station games start.The games were so fun!..catch crabs,build sandcastle,buried ourselves in the sand,rolling on the sand and more..Game master sure do a great jobs!!After all finished,we go clean ourselves at the public toilet.The public toilet is far away from where we are.So we have to walk few miles to get there.After that,we have our dinner and BBQ.It was a 1st time for me,me and her and other couple sat together watch the sky and see stars..so romantic.Although coupling is not allowed.Sorry..!Anyway sweet memories for me...!
-5th day of camp-
Gathered at conference room for a talk.Talk was given by Mdm.Voon.After that Closing Ceremony of Prefects Camp.We can't do much because SPM was going on,so we just packed our things down from the room,clean and clear up and packing.Today is the last day,gonna miss this camp.After that,TALENTSHOW!Our group last minute had prepared all things and we're going to do a hot dance and singing.Everything went well when practice but on stage..everything was a mess.Haiz..it's ok..at least we try our best and rave enough to go up stage.Haha..Last part..Can You Please Don't Backstab Me??This is where people tell the truth and voice out their thoughts.After hearing all the compliments,complaints and lecturing,I feel moody and kind of sad inside..I feel that I didn't enough and do well to satisfy others,different people have different perspectives or views on others,so for this coming year,I am gonna do my best and give all I've got!!
Overall,I am happy to join this Prefectorial Board and this Prefects Camp.I want to say thanks to teachers and friends that guide me during this period.I feel that I have grown a lot since then.When I first got that pose,I was not happy,I said why me?Not just that,many also backstab me.That time,really make me cry and I was alone that time,I have to carry my duties and this post myself.I don't even know what's the feeling of backstab,until then..it really hurts!Seriously..Now I am strong,I don't care what people say things about me,I take that as a comments to build myself up than the others.I feel myself building up each day,others too.Jiayou steve!For the prefects,after this camp,hope we're going to unite as one and become family!Sacrifice and strive the best for the school!We can do it!!
